Lord Taverners London Disability Cricket Project

The South London Special League is one of the main delivery partners of the Lord Taverners London Disability Cricket project organising a Cricket coaching programme at Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus in Woolwich on Friday afternoons to prepare a team to take part in regular competition against other local boroughs.
This project is part of a pan London project providing Coaching and Competition for disabled players aged 14-25yrs.

The Greenwich Team will be playing in an inter borough competition with Tower Hamlets and Newham and will also take part in a Winter Cricket Festival at the Kia Oval indoor centre on Thursday 30th April.

In addition, there is a 6 week taster session at the Charlton Park Academy starting on Mondays from 9th March. Players that would like to continue playing Cricket will be invited to attend a weekly ‘Community Club’ session to be organised at Shooters Hill Campus in April / May (Dates and times to be confirmed).
